Killer Crispy Sinigang
Killer Crispy Sinigang crowns tangy pork-and-vegetable soup with crisp fried pork belly.

Ingredients for Killer Crispy Sinigang
- 2 lbs pork belly
- 44 g Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc mix, divided
- 1 tablespoon Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- 1 bunch string beans
- 1 bunch spinach
- 1 Chinese eggplant, sliced
- 10 okra
- 3 oz daikon radish, sliced
- 3 long green peppers
- 1 onion, wedged
- 2 tomatoes, wedged
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups cooking oil
- Ground black pepper and fish sauce, to taste
How to cook Killer Crispy Sinigang
- 1.Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a pot; sauté garlic, onion, and tomatoes until softened. Add pork and brown lightly.
- 2.Add water and all but 1 tablespoon sinigang mix. Cover and simmer on low about 45 minutes, until pork is tender.
- 3.Remove pork, cool, rub with reserved sinigang mix and Liquid Seasoning, then air-dry at least 3 hours.
- 4.Deep-fry pork in remaining hot oil until crisp and golden; double-fry if desired.
- 5.Bring soup back to a boil. Add beans, spinach, eggplant, okra, daikon, and peppers; cook 5 minutes.
- 6.Season soup with pepper and fish sauce. Bowl the soup and vegetables, then top with crispy pork.
