Suman Moron
Suman Moron layers vanilla and chocolate rice dough inside steamed banana-leaf parcels.

Ingredients for Suman Moron
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can coconut milk, 400 ml

- 1 cup brown sugar

- cleaned banana leaves

How to cook Suman Moron
- 1.Whisk the first rice flour, glutinous rice flour, and white sugar; stir in one coconut milk can and vanilla.
- 2.Cook over low heat, stirring often, until a very thick sticky white dough forms; transfer to a bowl.
- 3.Whisk remaining flours, cocoa, and brown sugar; add remaining coconut milk and vanilla, then cook over low heat until slightly thickened.
- 4.Stir in peanuts, if using, and continue cooking until very thick and sticky; cool both doughs slightly.
- 5.Warm banana leaves until pliable. Spread white dough into 6-by-4-inch rectangles, layer chocolate dough inside, roll, wrap, and tie.
- 6.Steam over low heat for 30 minutes; cool slightly before serving.
