Strawberry Taho
Strawberry Taho pairs warm tofu jelly with ruby sago and a fresh strawberry syrup.

Ingredients for Strawberry Taho
- Top-grade tofu jelly
- Sago pearls
- White sugar, equal in volume to the sago pearls
- Water
- Red food coloring
- 2 cups strawberries, trimmed and quartered
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch, mixed with 1/4 cup water
How to cook Strawberry Taho
- 1.Combine strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan; boil over medium heat, then simmer 15 minutes until very soft.
- 2.Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer on low for 5 minutes, until the syrup thickens; set aside.
- 3.Cook sago according to the package directions, adding equal parts sugar and sago plus several drops of red food coloring; cool slightly.
- 4.Portion tofu jelly into heatproof mugs, cover to keep out condensation, and steam for 15 minutes until hot.
- 5.Top warm tofu with strawberry syrup and sago pearls, then serve immediately.
